Welfare Events
The chairman and the committee have the responsibility to investigate any requests for help
as well as searching for deserving causes independently. Club members and 'Friends of Lions'
finance and arrange numerous Welfare events throughout the year including:
- A number of Senior citizens parties and lunches
- Planting bulbs accross the Island
- Family picnics
- Help with Gardening activities
- Visiting those who are unable to go out
- Providing Pantomime tickets to children on the Island
- Days out at Paultons park for young carers
